My name is Sandra, and I am first and foremost a mom to my amazing young son. He is the reason this journey began to create custom cakes and whom all of my work is dedicated to. Creating edible art and seeing the memories created, brings so much happiness. I take great pride in sharing my creativity with others, and doing it differently.
I have worked tirelessly to offer everyone an option of cake, whether it is gluten free, dairy free, or vegan. These options are always an exciting challenge to expand on. At the end of the day, my end goal is for everyone to have a memorable experience.

I take the upmost pride in designing your custom cakes, and having the creative freedom to design an edible work of art. Local florists are primarily how my beautiful floral accents are provided, and other mediums to create your desired look.
Cupcakes and cake donuts are never to be forgotten, and my belief is they should also be unique and stand out at any event on their own or as an accomplice to an overall design.

The Ingredients
QUALITY INGREDIENTS SOURCED LOCALLY
In the beginning stages of my business, I spent months researching, testing, and sourcing local ingredients to the best of my ability. Many ingredients from dairy, eggs, flour, sugar, and extracts are sourced locally in Redding or areas nearby in Northern California. The Homemade Cakery was born out of the promise to always keep everything 100% homemade, and even homegrown!
I also strive in sourcing fair trade, ethical, and good for our planet ingredients and materials, such as cake boxes which are recyclable and ethically sourced chocolate. I have the highest standards for quality and continually work to find the best in quality alternatives.
