Custom Cakes

My favorite part of designing custom cakes is the ability to do something unique and creative. Every great cake artist has their original and signature style, and boldly colored fresh flowers are my personal favorite medium to use.

If flowers are not your style or theme, I can create a sophisticated and elegant cake style, a colorful creation full of personalization, or perhaps a fun and playful theme for your little one, especially those who dream of superheroes, magical creatures, or something whimsical. The sky is limit and I encourage the use of your imagination to help me create a cake you've been dreaming of!

What to think about when planning a custom cake

Servings

When deciding on your servings for special occasions, my recommendation is to plan to serve 80-90% of your guest list.

6" and 8" rounds are most common for up to 15-30 servings, when combined it averages 40 servings.

Gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options are available. Please be sure to note if there are any allergies I should be aware of.

If you are doing a tiered cake, you can choose one flavor profile per tier, or the cake can all be one flavor as well.

Design

Once you have decided on servings and flavors, the next step is finalizing your design. If you have something set such as a children's themed cake, please include invitations, decor, and other must haves like name, age, characters to be included.

If you are not sure of your design preference, we can go over your overall theme and I will gladly take the creative freedom from there.

Custom Elements

Because each cake is a custom piece, sometimes there are various elements used to create the look. Customized and handmade cake toppers, or special order elements are always welcome to be discussed during the inquiry process.

Custom Sizes

If you have a certain style of cake that is outside of the normal tiered cake, I can work with you to create a masterpiece which embodies that uniqueness. I use mostly buttercream techniques, but may use fondant accents paired with other social request elements.

Children's Cakes

I have created a wide range of children cakes for some of the most popular themes. Please note your must have elements for these larger themes when you place your inquiry, so it can be included in the design, such as name, age, or any special personalization.

Custom Cake Investment

Custom cakes start at $150, various elements such as cake toppers, specialty fondant work, florals, and substitutions are priced in addition and accordingly.

6" & 8" two tier cake pricing starts at $185.

Delivery

Delivery services within the immediate Redding city limits is a flat fee of $10. All other areas are $10 +.58 per mile.
